Drinking Water Distribution Program

Rotary Club of Itahari (RC Itahari) jointly organized ‘Drinking Water Distribution Programme’ on August 17, 2025 on the auspicious occasion of Shree Krishna Janmastami together with Rotaract and Interact Clubs. There is a trend of organizing a huge holy or consecrated procession of Lord Krishna devotee in Itahari on the special day of Shree Krishna Janmastami.

Due to the extreme hot and sunny days of Bhadra, most of the devotees feel thirsty, dehydrate and dis-comfortable during the holy procession. It is, therefore, Rotary Club of Itahari decided to aware them about drinking sufficient water with the water bottle on their hands during the procession and help them keep their body hydrate during the holy procession.
Rotary Club of Itahari also invited Rotaract Club of Itahari, Rotaract Club of Sunsari and Interact Club of Peace Zone School and Interact Club of SOS. They all served devoted by distributing drinking water to more than 700 people. This programme was really so useful as the devoted became happy, contended and it helped them keep healthy and fit for 3 hours walk on the sun. The President of Rotary Club of Itahari initiated and presented himself to distribute the water bottles to the devotees.
