A one-minute silence was also observed in memory of those who lost their lives in road accidents.
Traffic and highway security officials from the Nepal Police provided participants with information related to road safety. Rotarians and Rotaractors also engaged with pedestrians, raising awareness about zebra crossings, road safety, and traffic rules.
The program witnessed notable participation from Rotary and Rotaract officials and members, traffic police, local residents, and youth students. Participants expressed that road safety is a shared responsibility of everyone and such programs help deliver positive messages within the community.
